Dr. Kim Carpenter graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After graduation, she worked in general practice for one year, followed by 9 years of emergency medicine. With the birth of her fifth child, she decided to focus on her family at home, during which time she enjoyed helping family and friends with their pets. She started Hearthside Veterinary Care after seeing the need in her community for compassionate home pet care during this very painful time faced by every pet owner.
